Founded in 2015, Brawn is an independent investment and development firm committed to building the infrastructure needed for a decarbonized future. Our mission is to accelerate the energy transition by developing and financing large-scale battery storage, solar energy, and low-carbon data centers across Asia-Pacific.
Rooted in a belief that real climate action requires real-world solutions, Brawn brings together expertise in finance, engineering, and renewable infrastructure to deliver projects that are as ambitious as the challenges we face. SCOTT REINHART
Founder & CEO
Scott is the Founder and CEO of Brawn, investing in sustainable infrastructure and leading energy transition development through Manoa Energy. A former senior executive at Citadel and Pine River Capital, he holds an MBA from Chicago Booth.
DEAN COOPER
Chief Operating Officer
Dean is Chief Operating Officer at Brawn, overseeing firmwide operations and execution across renewable energy, storage, and grid infrastructure platforms. He previously led Asia-Pacific at Amp Energy, a Carlyle portfolio company, deploying $7 billion globally to advance the energy transition.
SU EE THAN
Managing Director
Su Ee is Managing Director at Brawn, driving investment strategy and execution across energy transition and sustainable infrastructure. He previously held senior leadership roles at CATL, Keppel Capital, OCBC Bank, and Citibank. He holds an M.Phil. from Cambridge.
REINA TANASE
Head of Investments
Reina is Head of Investments at Brawn, leading origination, underwriting, and execution across debt and equity investments. She previously held investment and corporate banking roles at HSBC and SMBC Nikko Securities.
Fred is Chief Technical Officer at Brawn, bringing over 20 years of experience in renewable energy development and engineering, with involvement in more than 5 GW of solar projects globally. He previously held senior roles at Shift Energy Japan, TÜV Rheinland, and Linde Gas.
FRED MARTIN
Chief Technical Officer
Aden is Head of Legal at Brawn, leading legal strategy, structuring, and governance across cross-border transactions. He previously worked at Baker McKenzie, Morgan Lewis Stamford, and Amundi Asset Management.
ADEN TAN
Head of Legal
Garth is Chief Financial Officer at Brawn, overseeing financial strategy, fund operations, and reporting across the firm’s infrastructure platforms. He previously led fund operations at Oaktree Capital Management and AEW Capital Management and is a CPA.
