Manoa Energy
Founded in 2023 by Brawn, Manoa Energy focuses on the comprehensive development, construction oversight, and project management of grid-scale Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) and solar photovoltaic (PV) projects.
Manoa Energy is striving to implement solutions that enhance Japan’s energy efficiency and support the region’s transition to a greener future.

Featured projects demonstrating our execution capabilities
Helios
Helios 1 is a 50MW/104MWh Battery Energy Storage System project in Sapporo City, Japan, and is now in the later stages of construction. It has been connected to the grid and is entering commissioning. The project was developed by Manoa Energy with Hokkai Denko as the EPC partner. A majority stake has been sold to HD Renewables, with minority share negotiations ongoing.

Shibushi
Shibushi is a 2MW / 4MWh Battery Energy Storage System project in Kagoshima, Kyushu. The project is currently under the early stages of construction, after meeting regulatory requirements and obtaining all necessary permits. Manoa Energy covered the origination and development and currently provide construction oversight. Asahi Techno was selected to provide the EPC service.
